Juicy garlic butter pork chops

### Ingredients:

– 4 pork chops (bone-in or boneless, about 1 inch thick)
– Salt and pepper, to taste
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
– 4 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 teaspoon dried thyme
– 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
– 1 teaspoon dried oregano
– 1 cup chicken broth
– 1 tablespoon lemon juice
– Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

### Preparation:

1. **Season the Pork Chops**:
– Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels.
– Season both sides of the pork chops generously with salt and pepper.

2. **Sear the Pork Chops**:
– In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
– Add the pork chops and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side until they are golden brown. Remove the pork chops from the skillet and set them aside.

3. **Prepare the Garlic Butter Sauce**:
– In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the butter.
– Once the butter has melted, add the minced garlic, thyme, rosemary, and oregano. Cook for about 1-2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant.

4. **Deglaze the Pan**:
– Add the chicken broth to the skillet, stirring to scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
– Stir in the lemon juice.

5. **Cook the Pork Chops in the Sauce**:
– Return the pork chops to the skillet, spooning some of the sauce over them.
– Reduce the heat to low and cover the skillet. Let the pork chops simmer in the garlic butter sauce for about 10-15 minutes, or until they are cooked through and reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

6. **Serve**:
– Remove the pork chops from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes.
– Spoon the garlic butter sauce over the pork chops and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
– Serve with your choice of sides, such as mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, or a fresh salad.

Enjoy your juicy garlic butter pork chops!
