Whipped hamburger steak

Ingredients
°2 pounds crushed envelope
°1 yellow onion finely chopped
°16oz of mushrooms I used a mix of cremini and shiitake
°2 cups beef broth – divided. I use fat-free, low-sodium canned food
°2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
°6 tablespoons butter
°4 slices green onions, cut into white and green slices
°Salt and pepper to taste

Divide the meat into 6 equal-sized patties. Salt and pepper alternately each side.
Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in the skillet. Add onions and mushrooms and cook over medium heat until brown. Remove from skillet and set aside

Melt an additional 2 tablespoons of butter in the skillet and stir the beef pieces for 3 minutes on each side or until the meat reaches 120°F. Take it out of the frying pan.
Add the last 2 tablespoons of butter to the skillet. Add 1½ cups of meat broth. Bring the mixture to a boil and whisk in the flour. Cook until thick. If the broth becomes too thick, add the remaining half of the broth*. *

Add beef slices, mushrooms, and onions to the hot broth. Salt and pepper to taste. Cook until desired doneness.
Serve and garnish with sliced ​​green onions.
